Maycel has a great passion for the synergy between business development and operational development, combined with complex technology. He has a PhD from Chalmers University/Halmstad University with a focus on Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence, specifically advanced algorithms for human-machine intelligence. In 2000, Dr. Maycel began working on his own product idea with a friend, an automated AI image analysis system for identifying atherosclerosis. He has extensive work experience from several large international companies in industries ranging from telecommunications, automotive, to defense. Maycel has a vast network and strong expertise in developing businesses in various stages from ideation to exit. He has been and is active in several companies as a founder, investor, CEO, and board member.
